Follow Your Dreams

When a person says, “follow your dreams, you can’t go wrong.” What does it mean to follow your dreams? It may be an inspiration or an intense feeling that makes you feel good. It may be a vision, a literal dream, or a goal that you perceive will bring happiness and success to your life. An unhealthy person’s perspective may become altered at some point, depending on the cause of the ill condition. Poor mental health or physical illness could impact a person’s aspirations, dreams or goals in a negative way.

We know that when we fall into sleep, we have dreams. A person needs a good quality of sleep to replenish energy and restore the mind. Dreaming is a normal part of healthy sleep and is said to be connected to better cognitive function and emotional health. Researchers are making connections between a person who has poor sleep patterns and bad health. Experts believe that dreams can contribute to a healthy quality of sleep. Conditions like insomnia and narcolepsy can increase the chances of vivid dreams, an intense dream that feels real.

The focus should then be on maintaining health, both mentally and physically. If a person runs themselves in the ground, while following an aspiration, dream or goal, their perspective may become loss in the chaos. The goal should be to take the very best care of yourself first, know your limitations, create a reasonable plan to achieve goals while maintaining good health, welcome setbacks (they are a normal part of life) and stay positive. Your dreams will then follow you.
